Dr. Kominars is a Licensed Psychologist and is a certified addictions professional with more than 20 years of clinical experience in a variety of settings. She is a graduate of St. John’s College (B.A.) and Temple University (M.Ed. & Ph.D.) and she completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Brief Psychotherapy at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Kominars’ areas of specialization include the treatment of anxiety and depression, substance abuse and dependency, chronic illness, sexual orientation and identity issues, working through grief/loss, as well as career and vocational issues. In addition to traditional psychotherapy, Dr. Kominars is an experienced personal and executive coach and has worked with groups and organizations to improve:  interpersonal communication, problem-solving capabilities, and team work. She is a skilled presenter on a number of topics such as: increasing resiliency and stress management skills, performance enhancement, conflict resolution, planning and goal setting, and capitalizing on diversity.

Dr. Brantley is a graduate of the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology (and minors in Education and Criminology.) At Nova Southeastern University she completed both Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology. She has excellent clinical skills and expertise in the areas of health psychology, assessment, substance abuse treatment and relapse prevention, solution-focused interventions, and motivational interviewing. Dr. Brantley’s clinical experiences share a common focus on health psychology:  For example, In hospital settings she provided services to more than 300 patients, serving as a member of an interdisciplinary team in Trauma, Pediatrics, Oncology, Cardiology, and Internal Medicine departments.  Dr. Brantley has conducted a variety of psychoeducational seminars on a wide variety of topics including motivational interviewing and stress management skills.
